But as Kaley Cuoco stepped out in Beverly Hills on Thursday she appeared to be following only one fashion commandment.
Dressed in all black, the 29-year-old actress cut a casual figure as she showed off her toned legs.

The star of The Big Bang Theory stepped out wearing a simple black T-shirt dress, a leather backpack, a pair of blue sunglasses and THE shoes of the summer season. They're by Saint Laurent and we spotted none other than David Beckham wearing a tan version earlier this week.

Hiding her eyes behind a pair of blue rimmed shades, Cuoco styled her short blonde cut in a sweeping fringe as she appeared to be make-up free.Donning a black thigh skimming mullet T-shirt dress, the Camarillo born star rocked a pair of fringed boots while toting a leather rucksack and accessorising with several pieces of jewellery.

Last weekend the star was quizzed over reports that she is with child when she walked down the red carpet at the A Night at Sardi's soiree, which was hosted to raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer's Association.
Speaking to E! News, Cuoco explained: 'No, I'm not pregnant! I don't know why people keep thinking that. Maybe I should wear a little tighter clothes.
'But I do love babies! If you're holding a baby right now, I will take it from you and hold it. Like, I have this need to take it. I don't have my own yet—can't wait—but any child, I just grab!'

Kaley then teased that she may very well have a big announcement to make in the not so distant future regarding starting a family with her husband Ryan Sweeting.
She added: 'You never know… We're practicing a lot, so you never know!'
Cuoco and Sweeting wed back in 2013 on New Year's Eve at the Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Simi Valley just outside Los Angeles, California.
