Harry Reid endorses New York Sen. Chuck Schumer as his replacement

Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid said today he would like to see Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) replace him after he steps down as Senate minority leader. In an interview after announcing his plan to retire in 2016, Reid said, "Schumer, in 22 months if he plays his cards right, should be able to do it. I told him if you need my help, you got it." |
