Beyonce made a surprise appearance at a fundraiser for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in New York on Wednesday.
The 33-year-old was among a number of music industry ladies to turn up at the event, including Sharon Osbourne, Meghan Trainor and Tamar Braxton

The singer looked her usual effortlessly fabulous self with minimal make-up, wearing a glittering gold dress and matching gold high-heeled sandals, with her long hair in a pony thrown over one shoulder.
The intimate event was hosted by music mogul and former X Factor judge LA Reid and his wife Erica at their Upper East Side home in Manhattan, where tickets reportedly cost $2,700 per head.

Reid himself shared a few snaps of the former first lady and possible future president, captioning one 'No need to be idealistic when you already know what works @HillaryClinton @HlLLARY #experience'.
According to PageSix, During the evening, Hillary joked that she would be the first president to leave the White house without grey hair, insisting 'that’s not going to happen to me, I've been dying my hair blond for years.'
Beyonce is one person who knows hair drama - on the same day it was revealed her high pony was the reason she was so late for the Met Gala ball last week.

According to her hair stylist Neal Farinah, her hair had originally been swept up into an 'Asian-inspired chignon'.
But having stepped into the elevator in her apartment building, she decided that the style might be considered too 'costumey', and she asked her trusted stylist to make a last-minute change.
'We were in the elevator on the way down, and she looks at me and says "Neal, I want to change my hair, will you change my hair?"', the salon owner told US Weekly.

'And I said, "Honey, there could be cameras in the elevator,"' he added, referring to the now-infamous incident at last year's Met Gala during which Beyonce's sister Solange Knowles was caught on camera in the midst of a physical altercation with the singer's husband Jay-Z.
Beyonce then geave him a time limit of five minutes, which he apparently overshot considerably, as the Mrs Carter didn't turn up until 10pm, four hours after Met Gala host and Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour had arrived.
'She is a powerhouse and she knows what she wants,' Mr Farinah added.
