Granddad-chic? David Beckham goes for a low-key look in flat cap and unusual fringed moccasin boots while out in London
He's one of the best-dressed - and most well known - gents in the world.
So it's no surprise David Beckham sometimes tries to use his knack for style to try to go incognito when out and about.
The 39-year-old retired footballer well and truly layered up as he stepped out in London on Friday with his agent and best friend, Dave Gardner.

Still handsome: David Beckham worked a somewhat granddad-inspired look with his flat cap and moccasins as he stepped out in London on Friday, but he still looked good
However, it was all a bit of a granddad-inspired aesthetic for the usually impeccably-attired star.
The handsome hunk sported a pair of black denim bottoms and a t-shirt, but with more interesting accompaniments.
He added a dark denim jacket over his classic top, with fashionable shearling collar to break up the dark shades.
But he aged himself slightly as he tried to go low-key under a dark grey flat cap, one of his many types of beloved head wear.
Layering up: The 39-year-old mixed up his black jeans and tee with a shearling collared denim jacket, and the other interesting accessories
Beyond his years? Perhaps trying to cut an incognito figure, the retired footballer almost covered his face with his flat cap
Footwear game strong: The sports icon traded trainers for fringed, tan coloured moccassin boots with a raffia sole
However, perhaps the most eye-catching element to his daytime look were the tan coloured moccasin-style boots on his feet, complete with fringing.
David didn't seem bothered by his old-man look for the day, though, and he still managed to cut a very handsome figure - helped by his delightful smattering of heavy stubble - as he got on with errands alongside Dave Gardner.
The businessman, model and sporting icon is back in the UK after recently spending time with his famous family in Los Angeles.
Along with wife Victoria, and their four children - sons Brooklyn, 16, Romeo, 12, Cruz, 10 and three-year-old Harper - he had enjoyed an extended Easter break in the Californian city, their old home, for a few weeks.
While in LA, David well and truly got his fitness on as he attended daily sessions at his favourite Soul Cycle class in Brentwood.
But he also let his hair down, enjoying several events with his family, including the star-studded Burberry London in Los Angeles event on Thursday at the Griffith Observatory.
He was also the main support at his wife Victoria's collection launch at Barney's New York in LA, before celebrating her 41st birthday in top notch sushi restaurant Nobu on Friday.
Back in Blighty: David recently spent a few weeks with his family in Los Angeles, but has now returned to the UK, and wrapped up accordingly
Best pal: David spent the day with his friend and agent Dave Gardner, who recently welcomed a baby with girlfriend Liv Tyler
While the fashion designer has seemingly stayed in the States, David headed back to Blighty with his gorgeous brood in tow on Sunday.
Meanwhile, it's unclear if David's unusual fashion choice for his day out on Friday had anything to do with his wife - he has previously admitted to being dressed by her '99% of the time'.
Speaking after the launch of a menswear collection for H&M in Madrid in March, he told an interviewer: 'The best fashion advice Victoria has probably given me is not to wear something.
'She's told me quite often because honesty is important when you're in a relationship,' he added.
'She's very honest, and she doesn't like what I'm wearing, she tells me straight.
'She gives me advice because her vision of fashion is marvelous and her business is going great. I listen to her advice 99 per cent of the time.'
Return journey: After a lovely few weeks in California, David Beckham and his children - Brooklyn, 16, Romeo, 12, Cruz, 10 and Harper, three - returned to London on Sunday
Star power: During the Beckhams' time in LA, they attended several events, including the prestigious Burberry London in Los Angeles event on Thursday
