Suge Knight is being sued for the wrongful death of a man he killed by running him over in his pickup truck.
Knight was named in a lawsuit by Lilian Carter, the widow of Terry Carter, who was killed by Knight's vehicle in January.
He and Cle 'Bone' Sloan were run down by Knight in a parking lot while the rap mogul, real name Marion Knight, was involved in filming a new movie in Compton, California.

Knight was hit with the lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles, as he continues to stand trial for Carter's murder. He has pleaded not guilty, claiming he acted in self-defense.
Carter's suit also named Universal Studios Inc., and rappers Dr. Dre and Ice Cube.
The company, and the two rap artists were all involved in filming Straight Outta Compton, a film about gangster rappers N.W.A.

Named: Ice Cube (left) has not commented on the lawsuit while Dr. Dre has called it 'preposterous'
Carter's suit alleges that the defendants were all guilty of negligence for continuing to film in Compton even after Dre warned to keep Knight away because of his temper.
It also claims Universal was negligent for hiring Sloan, who argued with Knight before he and Carter got run down.
The complaint stated: 'This lawsuit concerns the tragic tale of how reckless corporate greed, disguised as the quest for authenticity, (led) to a foreseeable altercation that resulted in the death of a successful businessman.'

Howard King, an attorney for Dr. Dre, called the lawsuit 'preposterous'.
Universal, Ice Cube and Knight's lawyers are yet to comment.
Knight remains in jail on a $10million bond. He recently changed lawyers, hiring Thomas Mesereau, who helped Michael Jackson get acquitted of child molestation charges.
After Mesereau started on the case, a judge granted him until July 7 before a new hearing. Knight is trying to have the charges against him dismissed.
New lawyer: Knight has recently taken on Thomas Mesereau as his attorney. Mesereau helped Michael Jackson get acquitted of child molestation
