Incredible pictures show extreme adventurers bungee jump off a 150-foot-high ledge at the spectacular 'Eyes of God' Bulgarian cave

  • In the village of Karlukovo in Bulgaria, bungee jumpers hurl themselves over the famed Prohodna cave entrance
  • The cave is most notable for two equal-sized holes in the ceiling of its middle chambers, known as 'The Eyes of God'
  • Formed through erosion, the huge elongated holes, which let light in, look remarkably like a pair of human eyes
These spectacular images show daredevil bungee jumpers hurling themselves off a ledge at a gaping 150-foot-high cave.
The pictures were taken at the Prohodna cave entrance in the village of Karlukovo, east of the Bulgarian capital of Sofia, on June 21.
Most notable for the two equal-sized holes in the ceiling of its middle chamber, tourists have nicknamed the geological marvel 'The Eyes of God.'

Prohodna is probably the best known attraction in the Karlukovo Gorge, which is part of the Geological Park Iskar-Panega, one of the largest karst regions in Bulgaria.
At 365 metres long, it's the longest cave passage in Bulgaria and boasts two entrances that lie opposite each other.
Thankfully for these intrepid athletes, the size of the Big Entrance makes it suitable for extreme adventuring and is among one of the country's most popular spots for bungee jumping.
