Inspirational dad: David Beckham has opened up once again about his sweet relationship with his children - especially his eldest son Brooklyn - who he claims steals clothes from his wardrobe
'I'm still a cool dad as far as my younger children are concerned,' the doting dad said.
'I was cool for about five hours, according to Brooklyn, when I got him Kanye's Adidas Yeezys for his 16th birthday. Then he realised I got myself a pair as well, so that kind of killed it.'
But he maintained that the teen - who is becoming a star in his own right - still finds his dad's clothes cool enough to wear himself.
'Every time I go into my wardrobe and there are clothes on the floor, I know Brooklyn's been in there, as I'm a really tidy person.

Coming into their own: David's sons with wife Victoria Romeo (left), Brooklyn (middle) and Cruz are a trendy bunch, and recently made an appearance at the Kids' Choice Awards without their famous parents

Wardrobe thief! Brooklyn, 16, has well and truly come into his own, but his father has revealed he actually likes to nick his designer clothing
'He doesn't think I'm cool, but he will go out in my new Saint Laurent trousers - which actually fit him better - and my trainers.'
As well as clothes-sharing with his kids, David gushed about just how stylish all of his boys are and that they inspire him sometimes, while praising wife Victoria's sense for all things fashion.
'I find street style in London really inspiring. Victoria is a good person to ask, she's great at decision-making.
'When you're in a relationship, you trust the person you're with so, of course, I listen to my wife most of the time. She doesn't always like what I'm wearing but she lets me make up my own mind.
He went on: 'I get inspiration from my kids, too. Brooklyn's constantly evolving his look, and my youngest son, Cruz is the same. Romeo's Romeo – he just looks good in everything.'

Embarrassing dad: On Monday, David appeared opposite James Corden on The Late Late Show, where he revealed he once went along to one of Brooklyn's dates

Oh, DAD! Brooklyn was sat in the audience while his dad told the tale of his Valentine's Day date, looking on in embarrassment
As one of the world's most sought-after hunks, David - who also has three-year-old daughter Harper - is also rather knowledgeable when it comes to the ladies, and admitted he gives sound advice about dating to his boys, and it's clear he wants them to be the ultimate gentlemen to future girlfriends.
'My parents and grandparents taught me to be polite and a gentleman; that's something I've definitely tried to pass on to my kids.
'I tell my boys that a woman appreciates it when you open the door for her,' he added.
His adorable comments come after he embarrassed Brooklyn during an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Monday night.
With the 16-year-old in the audience, David explained that he had to accompany his eldest on the Valentine's Day dinner
When probed by his friend, who asked, 'He must be getting quite big into the dating circuit now?', Beckham said: ''Yeah, it's happening. He's going to hate me for this.
